Dumplings recipe

  1. Dumplings are one of the most delicious and loving dish in the world. People went to different restaurants and enjoy this lovely food but its taste is more better when you make it at home. If you want to make it at your home then you need its recipe. Now i am going to write the best dumpling recipe which will help you a lot in making dumplings. You will find its recipe in other sites too but my recipe is more easy and delicious.

Dumplings recipe:

To make delicious dumplings you need the following ingredients:


  1. Flour 3 cups
  2. water 230 ml
  3. salt
  4. ground pork 2 cups
  5. minced pork fat 1/2 cup
  6. minced ginger 2 table spoons
  7. minced green onions 2 table spoons
  8. soy sauce 1 table spoon
  9. oyster sauce 1 table spoon
  10. sesame oil 1 table spoon
  11. five spice powder 1 tea spoon
  12. 1 egg
  13. napa cabbage 2 cups chopped
  14. soaked mushrooms 5 (minced)


 Making dumpling wrappers:

Mix a pinch of salt with flour, stir water in the bowl mixed with flour slowly and stir it, don’t pour all the water once that you cant adjust the amount accordingly. Now you have to need the flour to dough for possibly 10 minutes. Cover the dough with something for 2 hours. when you get the smooth dough the make the wrappers. Roll the wrapper in your hands and dig a hole in the center and make a long log. Now divide the log into small portions of 8g to 10 g. Round each and make a wrapper for dumplings.

Filling of dumpling:

Mix the meat with salt and seasonings. stir it for couple of minutes. Take mince green onion and ginger and mixed it with the filling. Now left it on a side.

Now chop the napa cabbage, add salt and squeeze the water out. minced the soaked mushrooms. now combine both the meat filling and side vegetables. Our filling is done. Now we have to place one table spoon of our filling in the wrappers which we made earlier. There are also store bought dumplings wrapper, its your choice either you want to make it at home or bring it from store. After placing one table spoon of filling seal the edge after wetting it. Now place them  in steamer and place it on medium fire. After 15 minutes open the steamer and your Dumplings are ready.
